A new group of Chinese remote sensing satellites was successfully launched on Friday by the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. A state of emergency has been declared in the American state of New York due to the continued spread of monkeypox, according to US media reports. As part of Abu Dhabi’s Offshore Block 2 Exploration Concession, operated by Eni, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has announced a second gas discovery. Approximately 1 to 1.5 trillion standard cubic feet (TSCF) of raw gas have been located in a newly discovered deeper reservoir. South Korea reported 88,384 newly reported COVID-19 infections and 25 deaths in the past 24 hours, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) said.
