The Iraqi Minister of Transport, Nasser Hussein Al-Shibli, announced today that four modern aircraft will be added to Iraq’s air transport network within the current year. Nawah Energy Company (Nawah) commenced regular nuclear refueling phase and maintenance of Unit 1 of the Barakah Nuclear Power plant, according to the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR). As part of this phase, new nuclear fuel assemblies will be added, and several maintenance and testing activities will be performed on equipment for power production, safety-related systems, and others.
